The construction of the solar power plant will ensure the use of the so-called green energy and thereby significantly positively influence the improvement of the portfolio of the Republic of Serbia in the area of the use of renewable energy sources. In this context, it can be considered that the implementation of the "Kladovo Solar Gate" solar power plant project, in addition to positive local (municipal) significance, also has a national significance. Development of the Detailed Regulation Plan and the Report on Strategic Environmental Impact Assessment ensured the realization of the project based on the principles of environmental protection.
The production of electricity in the solar power plant "Kladovo Solar Gate" will lead to an annual reduction of CO2 emissions for 350,000 tons.
in the area of the solar power plant, it is possible to apply innovative solutions such as agrosolar concept which includes the simultaneous production of electricity with agricultural production or livestock breeding. On that way the existing agricultural use of the land will be preserved.

As a socially responsible company, which cares about the environment in which it operates, ERG Renewables donated a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 3.63 kW to the Municipality of Kladovo. This power plant was installed on the roof of the preschool institution "Neven" buildings 1 and 2 and the library "Center for Culture" Kladovo. Our donation contributes to the saving of electricity as well as to the reduction of bills for its consumption. At the same time we introduced the photovoltaic technology to users in these institutions, and familiarized them with the importance of applying renewable energy sources. Complete works on the installation of this power plant were carried out by MT-Komex, company from Belgrade.
